The publicly traded (stock symbol CVST.PK) company was founded in 1983 in NJ and later moved its headquarters to Chattanooga, TN. Today Covista offers a variety of calling services: 1+ ld, calling cards, toll free service, VoIP.

Rates

2.5 cents per minute Tier A interstate rate.

Billing increments

6 second with 6 seconds minimum per call for domestic calls, 30 seconds minimum per call for international calls.

Toll free service

Provided, same rates listed above apply; $2 one time setup fee, $1 charge only for the months when toll free usage is below $1.

Other fees

If monthly usage is under $20, a $1.99 fee will apply. This fee is waived if you choose the Autopay billing option (you do not receive a bill in the mail).

Calling cards

Available, rates are 10 cents/min billed under the same account.

Absolutely great service. I pay 2.5 cents state to state rate and calls are billed in 5 second increments! If it wasn't for those high federal and state taxes my phone bill would be so low.
